Stabilized Whipped Cream Cappuccino Frosting. Light & fluffy, not too sweet with the perfect amount of cappuccino flavor. It's wonderful topped on all your favorite desserts.
1/2cuplight brown sugarpacked (make sure it is lump free)
2tablespooncappuccino powder
Instructions
In a chilled bowl with chilled mixers - beat the cream, brown sugar and cappuccino powder until stiff peaks start to form.
Frost cake or refrigerate until ready to use.
This frosting must be stored in fridge. Depending on what cake you make, you may have to rest cake it at room temp for about half an hour prior to serving.
(Optional) Lightly sprinkle additional cappuccino powder on top before serving for garnish
Notes
To clear up any confusion of "cappuccino powder". I typically buy a small container of it in the bulk section at my local grocery store. It might be called cappuccino powder, cappuccino mix or instant cappuccino mix. You might also find it in the coffee section nearby instant coffee.
