Smoked Trout From A Bounty of Trout
We love fishing and have been blessed with a very successful harvest of trout this year.
I enjoy fresh trout, I really do, but there’s only so much of it I can eat. Whatever we don’t eat immediately gets frozen. I usually save a few frozen fillets for a rainy day and smoke the rest. Chowders, dips, pates. Actually smoked trout on it’s own is absolutely wonderful.

I do prefer this recipe with smoked trout, but you can use any smoked fish you’d like.
